Thailand the Land of Smiles

A trip to Thailand, the Land of Smiles
We reached Thailand the next morning and headed towards Pattaya. We went to see the Nong Nooch tropical garden and cultural village. It is where we watched the cultural extravaganza of Thailand and the spectacular elephant show. Day 2 at Pattaya was fabulous as we got to visit the Coral Island where we experienced each and every adventure sport available. We headed for Bangkok the next day and on the way stopped at the Million Years Old Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm to watch the astonishing show by the not-so-easily tamed crocodiles. The day was brought to light by the Temple Tour at Bangkok. The day ended with shopping at Indra Square. The fourth day in Thailand was spent at the ever-lively Safari World. Our time at the Safari World was well-adorned by the Orangutan Show, Sea lion Show, Spy War Zone, Dolphin Show and the Bird Show. On the last day of the trip, we went to Siam Ocean World where we got to see thousands of marine and freshwater creatures, followed by shopping at MBK Center in Bangkok. In the evening, we proceeded towards the airport to fly back to Kolkata and reached Silchar on 3rd April. It is said that, “What we learn with pleasure is what we never forget” and truly, we will never ever forget this incredible journey. We all could grasp countless stuff about the Thai culture, history, architecture, monarchy, people and a lot more. We wholeheartedly thank Rev.Fr. Nelson for taking the initiative and to bear the trouble of giving us the best days of our lives till date; Madam Ratna and Sir Pinak for sparing their vacations and accompanying us and the ever-active guides, Madam Visakha and Madam Kikgy for directing us so well. The quality time we spent with our teachers and friends will always be cherished and the memories of these seven days will be locked in our hearts and minds forever.
