PRE-CHRISTMAS 2019

Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Soaking in the spirit of Christmas tiny tots of Don Bosco Silchar celebrated the festival with enthusiasm on 20^thDecember, 2019.The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in colourful dress. The students sang melodious carols and danced beautifully to wish their teachers and classmates. The significance of the festival was explained to the students through askit.The joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children.  Christmas atmosphere was created by the School Choir through Christmas carols of praise and joy. Santa Claus Competition was held in connection with Christmas. The students of classes 3 and 4 participated in it very enthusiastically. Christmas brings cheer and love and the children celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy. The angels of nursery and KG danced to joyful tunes. Even some teachers dressed asSantaClaus danced to the exciting tunes. Christmas carols weresung by the teachers. Christmas cakes were distributed among the children. Brother Bosco spoke on the various symbols used to express the meaning of Christmas like Stars, Gifts, Christmas trees, Candles, Bells and Santa Claus. He said that as Jesus is the light of the world, children should be a light to the world and this light should shine in the world. He stressed that Christmas brings love and peace of God; and highlighted the need of love among all the people.
