He said, “Everyone should remain committed towards cleanliness and devote time for it. Cleanliness should not merely be the job of the domestic staff or the mashis. It is our job. It is our duty. It is our right to clean.Clean Silchar’ is a great campaign idea, but the real challenge will be to sustain it beyond the work done, the photos and videos that are taken today. All that we require is a sustained effort driven by patriotism to make silchar clean.” Br. Reggie, the administrator of the school exhorted everyone to be agents of change and work towards a clean Silchar city. He motivated everyone by placing forward the existing scenario of the city and raised concerns about it. Towards the end of the kick off programme, all made the cleanliness pledge saying “I Neither litter nor let others litter” and work towards a clean Silchar. After waving of the school flag, the participants went forth to launch the cleanliness drive in different groups to ISBT, National Highway Road from ISBT to DBS and DBS road. It was indeed a good and enriching experience for all the participants.WP_20141021_12_22_51_Pro DSC02823

To enjoy the journey which is for stretched

and where am alone.

For a time being, my mummy accompanies me

till my gate,

To wish me that I’ve a day which goes great.

I leave my home,

after which two pet dogs Peter and Milo join

me whom my neighbor owns.

I have to dance and move my feets

as every morning, they play with my legs as if its

a day of feast.

And often I fall down because of their wild

friendliness,

I look back at my mother smiling at my

foolishness.

I get up, walk forth on my way,

with a face of gay.

I peep into a window, see a young boy studying,

But wait, Oh No!. I haven’t done my homework

and now start regretting.

Being still in tension, I now reach the vegetable

market,

Looking at the fresh vegetables and hands in my

pocket.

I start whistling to the tone of Que Serr, Serr. Whatever

will be, will be.

The future’s not our’s to see, whatever will be, will be.

Oh ! There they are,

My stoppage with their ear.

So, here I start my journey to my bus stop from

my home.

And I ask myself everyday, was I really alone ?
